This is a diary of sound and at the same time a phantasy story about my little world.
it was an illusion what I saw outside my windows and it was an illusion what I felt inside my rooms.
I went outside and caught the sound of fields to get the ambience of life.
Last year I left my door open. All sounds and solitude streamed back and out, merged with the sun and the sadness in the outer world.
Currently I feel like an alien, even if I´m familar with both worlds.
So I step outside and close the door – something new is waiting there and I take these recordings to keep the memories as the story of my life in my own little world. There is no direction to go right now, so I sit on packed bags and waiting for the train to take me away, even if I´m not sure if this is the train station.

It takes a long time till this release was finished. At least, the Piano Saga by Marie Elisabeth Ince completed the whole work. Because her photos tell a similar story, of music that living outside and a needful farewell.

fields ¹ is the first part of the field serie, released in 2002 (take a look here or here.

fields ² was recorded from 2005 till 2007 - and contains 3 long tracks with sometimes plain field recordings from where I live or treated material, mixed with heavy organ drones, trancy sequences and psychedelic athmospheres. It's surreal like blurry pictures from real live.

fields ^bonus collects additional recordings, so you can hear 2 raw mixes first versions of tracks (1, 3) and with nord tmnaee a semi-live recording which is similar to the track appearing on farewell fields, with Mirko Uhlig, but a bit rawer and with some droney beats.
one day in dwarfs capital is a more or less recording I made and that I used in as soundsource on my live sets. Maybe someday I will release the full day in dwarfs capital.
At least, fieldmap 4 is a plain field recordings with lots of birds an kids from the playground (as the whole record) and some light drones from my rooms.

At all it's a snapshot, a photoalbum of a period in my life. It started in 2000 an lasts till 2008. Now something new happen and build up on that time.
