Bio and Info

Dronæment works since 1997 (yeah 10 years for now!) in fields of drone and sound. It started 1996 with the psych-improv-trance-punk duo das rhythmische ornament.

Dronæment explore and record the everyday humming. There are a lot releases and sampler contributions outside. Started with tapes and vinyl records and moved forwards to the current digital media.

He worked together with some very kind people like Jim de Jong (The Infant Cycle), Sebastien Roux, Andrea Marutti, Carsten Vollmer, Wolfgang Dorninger and currently with the cricket in the field of drones, Mirko Uhlig.

The work of Dronæment is influenced by many music styles and his memories. You will find very calm droney stuff, sometimes mixed with field recordings and other sounds and sometimes bizarre and nervouse noises will leave your speakers.

There are bits of Krautrock, Punk and Psychedelic and there are pieces of Post-Industrialisation and contemporary drone music. Dronæment is mystical as very basic. It's not really a dark mooded music, it's stateless floating sound. It's like a photoalbum of gone times of somebody.
